Summer Escapades
Vacations are always great. No matter what you do , taking time off seems to be the cure for everything. The last 2 months I've taken some time off of competitive mountain biking. Boy I tell you, I feel so great. I do miss the heart-pumping adrenaline rush of catching other races and going down to the wire after 2 hours of lactic acid burns , but the relief of doing something else during summer has been surprizing to me.
College. I love it now. Working on that research project for UCLA this summer got me all excited about school again. Maybe its because the subject I actually want to learn , not that mathematical crap that gives me blurred vision and a migraine. 2 + 2 = 5 , thats all I want to know! New York City is crazyyyy ... good bars tho!
Concerts. From Ozzfest to Slayer , Social D to Atreiyu... Weekends have been drunkenfests this summer. Jack and Coke with the Goon in the parking lots , $10 dollar beers in the venue , pounding some more imports after the show when we could barely hear the cops threatening us to leave. "Good shit" in the words of the all mighty Goon.
Hanging out. I've spent more time with my brother than I have in my whole life. Maybe because he moved out finally , maybe because he has a really nice girlfriend, but we've been like ... brothers... weird. Snorkeling, scuba diving, going to museums... scary I tell you.
The Ladies. Ohhhh yeaaaa ! Love you all. What happens in Vegas ....
Made a mad dash to Brian Head Utah for the Nationals last weekend. It was something I just had to do. Too many good memories are there, just had to go give props to the place. Oh how I've missed singletrack riding in the backwoods. Two months of asphalt riding to college and work dulled me out. Also seeing the familiar faces still hauling ass on the race course. Nice seeing you all , and I promise I will return next season. But forever I will be Feedzone Fuzz!

One more month left of summer... should be a memorable one. Mammoth trip , Tool, Godsmack concert on the schedule. Hopefully I get to see T-money, which I totally doubt!
Deepest apology to the Roff family . I said earlier in the year that I would come out and visit the peeps in Colorado. Things came up , like the Slayer concert...just kidding.... , didnt have the time and resources to make it out this year. Miss you guys lots, always thinking about the good times.
Will try to update this thing on a timely basis ( I dont have a computer, nor a TV if that makes you feel better), hopefully I dont break my bro's laptop again right now.
